In Toronto, there is only one major record label. Sure, there are several independant ones, but G Major Records is the best. Run by Darius Mills, the biggest music mogul in Canada, it is seen as the label where, if you get in, you'll be a big star. Take Jude Harrison for instance. When she was fifteen, she entered a talent contest called Instant Star. It was run by the G Major Label. The once punk rock teenager ended up winning and three years on she has three number one albums, her second went platinum and her third went triple platinum.Of course, if you're going to make it in this jacked up industry, you'll need a good producer. Luckily one of the best is at G Major already. Tommy Quincy, former ex-boybander - Little Tommy Q - turned producer. He's worked on all three of Jude Harrison's albums, helping her rise to the top. He's also a major G Major exec, impress him and you're in.

The Instant Star competition's didn't stop there. There were another two, the winners: Mason Fox, the country star and Karma the R&B artist. Mason recorded an album with G Major before going of on a year's tour. He won several awards for his album, and guys (yes, guys) he's still single.

Karma on the other hand... well, there's only one way to describe her. Bitch. Yes, she'll do anything for fame and publicity. Don't believe me? Well she made it look as though Jude wasn't a virgin on national TV, taking Jude's place at a barmitzar; pulled Jude's shirt down exposing Jude's left breast... that plan backfired as it put Jude in the spotlight instead of Karma. She also organized a 'fake' wedding with her boyfriend Spiederman, but didn't realize that Paegan Smith (another G Major artist) was actually a real minister and they ended up married for real. She's just addicted to fame.

Shortly before Jude's eighteenth birthday, her and Tommy Quincy finally decided to date. They'd been building their relationship over the last three years and now that Jude was coming up to the legal age, they didn't have to hide it anymore. But once again, disaster hit the 'happy' couple in the form of Tommy's ex best friend Hunter. Hunter's sister Angie had been dating Tommy, until one evening they had had a fight, causing Angie to drive off in Tommy's car and crash, killing her. Tommy lived with the guilt for five years, until finding out that Darius' sister Portia who is also Tommy's ex wife had cut the brakes on the car Angie had driven off in, thinking that he would be the one to drive the car and die. Hunter then came looking for revenge and Tommy , knowing Jude was in danger, broke up with her - breaking her heart. She didn't know he was only trying to protect her.

Hunter managed to get Jude to go to the rehearsal space alone and tried to kill her there. But it backfired and he ended up getting arrested. Jude still didn't forgive Tommy, not knowing why he had broken up with her. When G Major was threatened to shut down for a while, Jude's music was being auctioned off. It killed her and she did everything to get it back, including performing her song Where Does It Hurt in an illegal underground concert ontop of an apartment block, a homage to the Beatles final concert on top of their Apple Headquaters. Tommy spent that night buying back Jude's music for her, the night ending with him meeting her in a restaurant and finally saying three amazing words: I love you.

Now, almost a year on, Hunter's out of jail... and he's looking for revenge. He's already managed to rape Jude Harrison in the short time that he'd been out, but that's not enough for him. He won't stop until she's dead. He wants Tommy to feel teh same pain that he felt when his sister Angie died. And he doesn't care who's in his way to achieve it.
